Robert Gorman concentrates his practice in the areas of trust and estate planning, estate administration, income tax planning, and advising clients in connection with the selection of a business structure (e.g., partnership, S corporation, LLC, etc.), formation and dissolution of businesses, purchases and sales of businesses, employment contracts, non-compete agreements, confidentiality agreements, and business disputes.
Bob’s prior experience includes working as a tax manager of the international accounting firm PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP (formerly Coopers and Lybrand). While in law school, Bob taught accounting at the Wharton School of Finance.
Negotiated sale of beverage distributorship for $20 million.
Negotiated the family settlement of a $60 million real estate business.
Represented dozens of partners in large accounting firm with respect to their estate planning, tax planning, and other legal matters.
Advised a producer and marketer of chemicals in North America on various tax and related issues.
Negotiated purchases and leases of numerous warehouses for cocoa bean storage company.
Represented numerous minority and majority shareholders in negotiating the sale or purchase of ownership interests in diverse businesses.
